Harry Kim and Dirty Hands have been busy at Comic Con

Harry has been a very busy dude at Comic Con 2011 this year. From launching shoes with Etnies and Kevin Smith, to hanging with Olivia Munn. Check out all his exploits… Be sure to go meet him today at 4pm at the UP booth #4633. He’ll be signing chests, babies, and pretty much anything. The Dirty Hands DVD will exclusively be available, there will be Munkos, and there will be free posters.

David Choe will be making his appearance at the booth tomorrow (Sunday) at noon along with Harry.

FINALLY OUT!!!

Wow. The movie is finally out. I should be crying. When the movie was first available for streaming from upperplayground.com, there was so much traffic that it wouldn’t load.

We decided to give out 121 of Dave’s Munko toys along with DVD Pre-sales. We put a lot into these 2 disc DVDs which we packed with over 3 hours of bonus footage and a zine.

Dave and I are going to be at the Upper Playground store in San Francisco this Sunday after 2p. If you can make it, would love to see you there!

Eleven Long Years!

That's how long it has been since this documentary was started (although I started getting serious about it eight years ago).  And only now that it's coming out on DVD and the net can I really say the movie is finished. Now the rest of you can really watch it. If you're planning on downloading, Upper Playground is actually playing it for free on their website so you're wasting your time.

Ever notice that hardly any independent films have come out in the past few years? That's because people don't buy DVDs anymore and filmmakers can't make their money back in downloads. Also, the recession wiped out all the smaller studios. So what we're left with is youtube clips and Hollywood bigger budget films. This film is still around only because it took so long.
